We harvested from 7 to 17 September. We would like to thank everyone who came to help us. Most of them were regulars, but there were also a few newcomers. Don't hesitate to sign up if you'd like to give it a go! It's a physically demanding job, but it can be a lot of fun if you enjoy the outdoors and living with others! For the 2024 grape harvest, I'll be taking registrations from next June.
The grapes were exceptionally large this year, but some were damaged by the hot weather in August, and some were affected by a bit of rot.
The Chardonnays were spared, and were magnificent, and sweeter than the other grape varieties. And finally, the Pinot Noir and Meunier, after sorting, were of fine quality.
See you soon to taste these wines, which in a few years' time will become our 1st organic Champagnes!
